Moreover, we can see on the picture above that the weather wasn't great... actually, just a couple of minutes later we were in the rain!
And, unfortunately: "every cloud has [NOT] a silver lining" , it has been raining all day long...
So, we missed this Big Show, so sad.... but even if the crowd was gone the sand beach was still here. Well, let's make the most of the opportunity to go swimming!!!
However, the water was really cold... BUT! it's always a great experience to dip one's foot in the water in a place you have never been before, moreover when this place is The Lake Michigan: one of the five Great Lakes of North America! SO let's do it!!
We can see on the picture below that The Lake Michigan is definitely huge! it's like a real ocean for us!! Because, usually we can see the horizon or make it out... but not with this one!
To give you some figures: Lake Michigan is the fifth largest lake in the world. It is 307 miles (494 km) long by 118 miles (190 km) wide with a shoreline 1,640 miles (2,633 km) long.
